Finally as if getting a climax in the drama Li Yuan stopped drumming his finger on the table and glanced at the women with a lazily smile.
Yun Qianqian caught off guard looked at everyone in bewilderment, frantically looking at her surrounding as everyone including the CEO was waiting for her answer.
She knew the whole plan Jiang Qinqin had set and as the plan was too thorough, there was hardly any loophole, anyone caught in such a fiasco should be scared but why is this woman so cool, like she knew something they didn't.
Letting out a huff Yun Qianqian tried to dissolve the chaos by shouting in rage with hesitance clear in her voice, "You think you can still manipulate people here to…."
Before she could end her speech Lei Xinyi stopped her rant with her hands tied on her chest, "Don't waste our time by rambling. Tell me, you will or you will not?"
Cut off like that Yun Qiqnqian turned red with anger, "How dare you talk to me like that…"
Before Yun QIanqian could continue her insults Li Yuan said in his deep magnetic voice, "Now, Qianqian this is not the answer to her question."
Not knowing what to say Yun Qianqian looked at Li Yuan face in astonishment. Was he trying to help that b*tch humiliate her? No, he had always been like that humiliating and pushing people b.u.t.ton for his amus.e.m.e.nt.
Thinking something Yun Qianqian looked at Jiang Qinqin whose cries had almost subsided.
Yun Qianqian looked at her with disgust. How pathetic it is, n.o.body took notice of her crying so she stopped herself.
Yun Qianqian wasn't an idiot; she knew well that Jiang Qinqin was doing this so CEO Li would come to her rescue. She had to get rid this Lu Xinyi and Jiang Qinqin for the CEO Li to take notice of her.
There was no way this Lu Xinyi will have a way out of it, she must be playing cool to save the last shreds of her pride. She was thoroughly framed.
Thinking that Yun Qianqian said with her chin held high, "Yes, I will kowtow a hundred times to you if you are proven innocent but if you are not, you will not only kowtow a hundred times to me but also submit your resignation today and never be seen near this building."
Lei Xinyi smirked and shook her head, even in the most tense of times she finds moronic people to entertain her. She nonchalantly replied, "Yeah, sure."
As Lei Xinyi was still looking at her with ridicule, the door to the conference room was opened and Fan BIngbing walked in with two plastic bags one containing a transparent packet with a powder like substance and another packet containing surgical gloves.
Bringing both the packets she kept it in front of CEO Li and said, "Sir, these surgical gloves were found in Miss Lu's bag and the powder like substance was found on Miss Lu desk."
As everyone saw the material they pa.s.sed Lei Xinyi shocked and intensified disgusted looks.
The powder like substance must be the drug while the gloves must be used for putting the drug in the coffee without getting the drug on her own hands.
Lei Xinyi had the urge to smack her head on the wall, she carried these surgical gloves with her on pure habit as a surgeon but there was no way she could explain that to anybody here.
Li Yuan eyed the plastic bag with gloves and the powder like substance and looked at her with a raised questioning brow.
Yun Qianqian scoffed and said with an eye roll, "So everyone can see who is guilty here. I think Lu Xinyi you should start kowtowing now, you have to write a resignation letter too, after all we don't really have all day to look at your face."
Like before everyone didn't even spare her a glance as Lei Xinyi and Li Yuan maintained eye contact.
Finally Lei Xinyi shook her head with an amused smirk and said through mirth, then looked at Fan Binbing and asked, "Did you look in the bins too?"
Fan Binbing looked at CEO Li, if she was allowed to answer or not, as CEO Li was waiting for her answer too, she replied, "Yes, I did."
"So Miss Fan Bingbing were there any other gloves, handkerchief or tissue found with the powder smell on them." Lei Xinyi asked.
Fan Bingbing shook her head and replied, "The security checked, there weren't any."
Looking at Lei Xinyi calmly investigating, Yun Qianqian could tell she was getting somewhere so she immediately shouted with desperation, "Why even she is getting this leverage to question when clearly this drug that is revealed from her possession proves that she is the one guilty here."
Then turning to Lei XInyi she spat, "You are not only a woman with a loose character but you even tried to drug CEO Li in broad day light in front all his staff. Do you even think you deserve breathing the same air as us?! You shoul….."
Before Yun Qianqian could continue further a.s.sistant Ji interrupted her, "Ms. Yun even a person charged with murder edict gets a trial in the court and Ms. Lu crime is not that severe. Don't you think she deserve a chance to defend herself."
Yun Qianqian knew well what was going on. a.s.sistant Ji never does anything without the direct order from CEO Li, with each pa.s.sing second she was getting anxious. Lu Xinyi was looking as calm as she was out for a morning stroll and this terrified her.
Why was she so calm and why was she smiling meaningfully as if she knew something others didn't.
