Everybody eyes drifted to the floor and they froze looking at them. They weren't some merry photos. They were horrific photos that could cause people to have nightmares.
In one of the photo, a girl was straddling a dead man, who was a well-known a.s.sa.s.sin in the underworld, so Old Master Li recognised him at once. It wasn't the most important detail. The girl was stabbing his already opened chest with brutality.
In another, the woman was in a dark room with hospital-like dozen beds with gruesomely wounded men on them and she was standing by one of them st.i.tching him. with a speed that her hand was blurred in the image.
The other image was of the girl, this time with about above-shoulder length hair, standing with black latex attire and a gun in her hand among about two dozen dead man whose body parts were torn and ripped. But what was horrific more than the scene itself was the s.a.d.i.s.t proud smirk and her lifeless eyes.
There was the same monster displayed in all the photos doing atrocious things, but that wasn't what freaked them out of their wits. It was the face of the girl that did it.
It was Lu Xinyi...or Lei Xinyi.
Old Master Li indicated his Butler to pick a photo and inspected it. Anybody else would have disrespected him like that, they would be six feet underground but this was his eldest dear grandson. He and Li Yuan always had such volatile tempers. He took pride in what they were and their ways.
The photos were authentic and Yu Youhan would never bring something that could be proven fake. It would wound his ego. Apart from that even he knew they were going to send them for inspection.
And as if that wasn't enough to prove his statement he took out a USB from his suit and threw it on the table between them.
"It has all these photos in video clips to further quench your curiosity." He held Lu Xinyi close, so she couldn't crane her neck, forcing her to stop gazing at the traumgiving photos.
Old Master Li looked at the photos that the Butler had given him. The woman was brutal and unrelenting. There was no regret on her face the irony was, she even looked satisfied.
In the Lei Household, you aren't born with the family name 'Lei' you had to earn it. Men in their late fifties fought for it. He had to wonder what a girl of 23 or 25 age did to earn it.
One thing was sure, she was an heiress of the Lei's and was knocked up by his grandson. A prideful smirk rose on his face. This would p.r.i.c.k the Lei's Head.
A delicate-looking, seducing, tantalizing and lethal beauty. Cunning and deceiving that she had fooled his Grandson who never lost a war that too in the game he never succ.u.mbed. She defeated him in a battle he didn't even fight.
A perfect weapon. If she was in his field or his granddaughter, he would have been proud. But she was enemy and came here with purpose...
She was a threat. She wasn't like the Lei's little toys, she was a f*cking killing machine. He had to have her here before she gives birth!
While the men were a.s.sessing the photos, women were looking at them in horrified expression.
Madam Lu was holding her heart in terror. Madam Li looked like she was going to faint. The murder of a woman was living, eating, and even sleeping with her son!
Old Madam Li looked as if she was about to burst, she had treated the Lei's heiress like a sc.u.m on the street and even insulted and humiliated her!
Madam Lu was the first to react, clutching the arms at once of her sons, "Oh my! And she was living with us for seven months!"
It seemed to break the trance Old Madam Li and Madam Li was in. Madam Li took a heavy breath in terror and shook her head, "My G.o.d! She was living with my son, My only dear son! The murderer woman was breathing the same air as him!"
Old Madam Li sat on the seat in horror and shock and covered her mouth with her hand, "The ba...baby! She has the heir!"
While everyone was lost in the sense of reality, Yu Youhan spoke coldly dispersing the misery, "Lu Xinyi had an accident and was comatose for months then she had amnesia. She recovered her memories yesterday."
Master Lu whose main concern was his family looked at Lu Xinyi in Yu Youhan's arms. He had been in the business world since he left the Army. He wasn't unfamiliar with the young man he was deadbeat and a brutal businessman.
His reputation was known for in half the continent. Since he took over from his father seven years ago, he had brought his Family company to new heights. He, like his cousin, was simply living legends.
When he had been looking for backing for Lu Xinyi, he had considered him but he had nothing to force him while the Li Family needed him. Besides the Li Family had deep underworld ties, basically, they ruled it. Lu Xinyi would be better protected in his household...
He looked at him with a hard expression and cut the dreadful atmosphere, "And where do you come in the picture, Youngman?"
Yu Youhan looked at him expressionlessly like he wasn't interested in speaking but then Lu Xinyi pinched him on his arm, He looked down in his arm at her angry eyes then turned to her father, "She lives with me, in my Mansion."
He didn't say, she has lived or she had been living instead he said she lives, lives!. Indefinite tense. Indefinite!
Master Lu eyes narrowed, and he sceptically asked, "You let an unknown young woman recover from coma and amnesia in your Mansion. And you did all that out of goodwill?"
